Now is a great time to purchase earbuds. Bowers and Wilkins has launched two new wireless earbuds models, the Pi6 and Pi8.
Bowers and Wilkins has always promised great sound, and it looks like they continue to deliver. The Pi6 is the cheaper model, costing only $249. With it, you get Bluetooth 5.4 and support for 24-bit/96kHz aptX adaptive transmission. It also has a IP-54 rating, which means its protected against dust and splashes. The Pi6 model can also last up to 6.5 hours on a full charge. For colors, you get Cloud Grey, Storm Grey, Forest Green, and Glacier Blue.
Next you have the Pi8 model, which will cost you $399. Like the previous model, it also uses Bluetooth 5.4 and the aptX transmission. They are also more power efficient, which should make them last longer. The Pi8 also has codec support for AAC and SBC, as well as aptX Lossless playback. Finally, it has upgraded 12mm drivers. You can also select four different colors, which are Anthracite Black, Dove White, Jade Green, and Midnight Blue.
Both models have a wireless charging case, and noise cancelling. While you can order the pi8 right now, you will have to wait until September 13th go get the cheaper alternative.
