It looks like Hisense is about to take a big step forward in the television industry. The company is launching the Hisense PL2 Laser TV later this month in Europe, which will set new heights in the industry.
The TV will be a whopping 150 inches large, which is a massive upgrade from the PL1. That model was only 120 inches. Not only that, the Hisense PL2 will use laser technology which will offer 2,700 lumens of brightness. To put that into perspective, the original model only had 2,200.
Alongside that, the newer model will have a lower throw ratio of only 0.22. If you haven’t figured it out yet, this is basically a next-generation projector.
It will also support HDR10+, Dolby Atmos, and will have built-in 30W speakers. It’s refresh rate for 2K ha salso been upgraded.
Finally, it will come with three ports: a HDMI 2.1, a external USB port, and a audio pack. You might be wondering, how much will this monstrosity cost? Only $2,499 euros, which translates to about $2,727 USD.
The device is also expected to release in the USA, we just don’t have a launch date.
