Back in the day, I got myself into flight simulator. I’ve spent countless hours flying across the earth, and enjoying the scenery. When I wanted to get more serious into it, I started looking for a flight controller. Eventually, I settled on the Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controller.
Out of the box, the Flight Controller is a heavy piece of equipment. It’s durable, and comes with a desk mount that works better than most. In terms of buttons, It has loads of customizable buttons – everything from buttons on the flight stick itself, to even more on the panel. These buttons include a 5-position ignition, and 13 buttons and switches.
Another cool thing about the Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controller is the panel. It’s got a neat honeycomb backface, in addition to 4 flip switches. On the panel, these work for avionics and electrical, but I’m sure you can change them. On the right side, you also have a ignition switch with different modes.
In terms of Software, the flight controller is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane 11, and Prepar3D. It also works with Xbox Series X|S, which is cool if you have a console.
The Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controller feels great, and buttery smooth – you get a 180° rotation, which works for literally everything I needed it for.
