Netflix is looking to refresh the design of its application once again. Users can expect to get a new home screen, which heavily integrates generative AI.
When the redesign launches, the main menu will move to the middle. In addition to this, descriptions will be smaller and everything should be more personalized. They will also start to showcase more live events and gaming.
These changes were announced Tuesday, during the company’s first product and tech event. According to the company, they have been working on these changes since last year.
While the generative AI will first show up on a beta test in the mobile application, we can hopefully see this on the TV application sometime soon. While we don’t necessarily approve of AI in all concepts, using it on Netflix could certainly help us find things to watch.
