Googles Ask Photos Feature Is Finally Starting To Release

Back during Google’s I/O developer conference, Google Photos revealed a new AI feature called ” Ask Photos”. This feature has started rolling out to certain people as early access.

Powered by Gemini, the Ask Photos allows you to search your photos by asking questions. You can search for thing such as “What did i eat yesterday” or “Where did i go last Monday”. This feature is powered by Artificial Intelligence, which searches based on lighting, blurriness. and other factors. Using this technology, Google wants to provide a better way to search your thousands of photos.

It can also do other interesting things, such as give you new ideas on based on previous photos. For example, you could ask it something like “What theme was that party i went to last week?”. It can understand relevant people, hobbies, food, and so much more. Even if it doesn’t find what you want, you can give it more information to help it.

If you are interested in trying Ask Photos, some U.S. users can sign in with Google Labs. Right now, everything is experimental but it will release to the public. Just be aware that Google Employees may review your queries during this phase, to help improve the AI. Thankfully Google says employees don’t see what account the photo is attached to.

Artificial Intelligence is becoming an increasingly big part of our lives. Amazon is planning to also integrate it into Alexa. We think AI can be a bit dangerous sometimes. To learn more about it, click here.
