HyperX Quadcast

The HyperX Quadcast Microphone Is Great For Anyone

When you purchase a microphone for your computer, you want one that sounds great and can reduce background noises. The HyperX Quadcast microphone is a great option. It’s on sale on Amazon for $89.99. Normally, it costs $139.99.

The HyperX Quadcast will work for almost anyone. It’s compatible with PC, PS4, PS5, and Mac. I’ve used this from everything to recording videos, audio, and even podcasting. While it’s certainly not top-of-the-line, it certainly feels like it at times.

Out of the box, you get the microphone itself and a stand. What’s great about the stand is it fights against vibrations using elastic rope suspension. While we upgraded to a microphone arm, the standard stand can also do you well.

You also get a dial on the back, where you can select four different polar patterns. These are Stereo, Omnidirectional, Cardioid, and Bidirectional. We keep ours on Cardioid, which works well for podcasts on voice overs. Another dial is on the bottom, where you can change the microphone sensitivity. This is great for streamers, as you won’t need to adjust things in software.

Another great feature here is the microphone lights up red when its activated. You can easily mute the microphone with the button on the top, which we find nice.

Overall, this microphone has served it well. It’s durable, easy to use. The only issue we have is the broken HyperX software, which you don’t really even need to install.
