Google has announced the Pixel Watch 3, which is the flagship smartwatch for the company. The watch will release on September 10, 2024.
When the watch releases, there will be a few options:
- 41mm Bluetooth/Wifi for $349.99
- 41mm LTE for $449.00
- 45mm Bluetooth/Wifi for $399.99
- 45mm LTE for $499.99
The Pixel Watch 3 introduces three new features to help you: Daily Readiness, Cardio Load, and Target load. Daily Readiness will use a new algorithm to track and analyze your body’s recovery biometrics, such as resting heart rate and recent sleep. Using that data, you get a better picture on how your body is ready to train.

Cardio Load will help you better track your training. According to Google it tracks your heart’s exertion and intensity during an activity. Using this, it will tell you if your over or under training.
Target load is a personalized target for your training, which you get every morning. It takes everything al together, guiding you on how to improve your fitness. All of this data will also come together in the new Fitness Morning Brief, making it easy to plan each day.

Another neat feature of this watch is Loss of Pulse Detection, which is something we’ve never seem before on a watch. This feature will detect loss-of-pulse, when the heart stops beating. When this happens, a call to emergency services will happen with an automated message with important information. According to Google, lots of people suffer from this and they hope to make a difference.
Finally, the Pixel Watch 3 comes in loads of colors, such as Matte Black, Porcelain with Polished Silver, and Havel with Champagne Gold. The 45mm also has Obsidian and Porcelain, and debuts a new matte Hazel Aluminum case with a matching Hazel Band.
